  • The Armando Galarraga slide continues. Armando couldn’t get the fastball working, and started using the slider a bit too much, which would eventually lead to a final line of five runs on six hits, with four walks and four K’s in 5.2 innings. This was the third straight start he has snot looked good in, and it’s no secret that he’s officially struggling.
  • Jeff Larish continued to earn his keep, going 2 for 3 with a home run. Larish has gone 4 of 9 in the last three games, with two dingers and three RBI.
  • The Dontrelle Willis experiment officially start up again tonight, as Willis returns to the bump for the Tiggers. I urge everyone to refrain from panicking: some guys DO throw the ball with their left hand. This is a normal part of most MLB starting rotations. Just not ours this season. On a serious note, good luck to the D-Train. Let’s hope he’s gotten it figured out.)

Probable starters for 5/13:

  • Tigers – Dontrelle Willis (0-0, –.—ERA, – SO)
  • Twins – Glen Perkins (1-2, 3.73 ERA, 22 SO)
